Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment may be required if the nerve of the tooth becomes infected or necrotic. This can occur following trauma to a tooth or if the tooth has a very large and deep restoration or area of decay. This is typically performed over two or three visits. The tooth will often require reinforcement and protection by means of a crown once the root canal has been completed.
